Cutie

Madison Grace

Little Madison's birth was much anticipated, especially since I shot her parents wedding. With that being said, I've never been more excited to meet a baby, more so than my own nephews, as much as little Madison Grace. She is seriously the sweetest, calmest, cutest baby I've ever met. Her parents are ridiculously lucky, she is one happy little chica!

Maddie and I had an awesome time together, filled with laughs and conversation (did I not mention I was fluent in baby?), she goo-ed & gaa-ed at all my awful jokes, and smiled, winked and coo-ed for me as she knew I was eating it all up, and as you will see, so was the camera.


Madison has the most beautiful hand-knit blanket hanging over her crib, it was too incredible not to receive a picture of its own.




She also got a bit annoyed with the camera, but sneaky me, I kept shooting. Besides, even when she's cranky she still is sooo adorable! Honestly how cute is she, even with that angry lil face? LOVE...

Burgers n such

The best burger I ever had in my life was when I was about 14 years old, up in Lake Placid, NY. I still remember how the thing tasted, and that says a lot. Even as a scrawny little kid, I had a deep appreciation for expectional food that tasted heavenly. Too bad I'm not up to the 6 plus hours of driving these days, or else I would of had that burger more than once in my life. I had never been able to have the same euphoric experience as I did in update New York, that is until I was introduced to Cherry Street East, in New Canaan, CT. As corny as it may sound, but...OMG, the burgers are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I try to treat myself to Cherry Street as often as I can or at least as often as I am also willing to spend my youth at the gym working off the calories consumed at this place.

Luckily, one of my favorite food blogs, Ctbites.com, where I am also a photo contributor, did a write up on the tiny lil house in New Canaan that I call "Heaven", yes it really is that good. I mean, the pictures speak for themselves



I mean, you can taste the deliciousness is the pictures, go there now and taste it for yourself!

Happy Tuesday!!!

Alex is 5!

My oldest nephew turned 5 years old this week, and celebrated with his friends at a local kids gym. I am still always so amazed at how much energy little kids have, they were on fire, and were still ready for more, even after the party was over! Oh, to be little again!



My youngest nephew even jumped in on the fun, not missing a beat, and being the littlest one there did not stop this kid one bit.

Quitin' Time

Justin & Mary Workshop

I had the unbelievable pleasure & fortune to participate in a workshop with the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and hilarious Justin & Mary, they are ridiculously awesome and talented photographers who I only hope and strive to one day shoot as well as them and capture a story as amazingly as them.
Spending an entire day with them and other photographers who participated in the workshop was incredibly uplifting, inspirational, educational and got my creative juices going like I could have never believed! Plus, and day where I get to actually eat a cupcake out of the deal is gold in my book!! ;-)

We had an entire little mock wedding to shoot, with a real bride & groom and all! Enjoy Kristin & Bill...










Plus, I made it onto Justin & Mary's site (woo hoo), I'm the geek in the background of Mary's photo of the bride getting ready. I am awesome at getting in the way of perfect shots, lol, whoops! ;-)
