I’m obsessed with really good food, fun vacations, cool music, cheesy jokes and I really, really, really LOVE photography.

I am a photographer that works out of both New York City and Connecticut and I love shooting couples, engagements, weddings, kids & families, and I am always down to travel anywhere!

Reinventing yourself

I am all about "phases" I've been through quite a few in my life. I like to think that while I don't always like change, I definitely find consistency and familiarity pretty boring. I like to keep my self on my toes with challenges, adventure and surprise. It is most definitely something that is in my blood, as a kid my family was always on the move. Not in the literally sense, as in a home (I grew up in the same house my entire childhood), but in the sense that my parents were always about visiting new places, checking out new sites and more or less exploring the world around us (I have an AMAZING sense of direction thanks to this! I'm pretty badass for a girl at maps and directions if I do say so myself, ha!). Things that weren't necessarily new to other people were always new to me because I was exploring them with my family, and if it wasn't new to us we found a way to make it fresh and exciting.
Which brought me to this building, it was an old factory building that produced locks, that had been long abandoned and unused, until recently when I came across it again and saw it was being fixed up into nice new homes. Genius! Reinvention and change at its finest!

Beth + Hector | Engaged!

"OMG, this is Beautiful!", I think I must of said this same thing over and over a million times, I was so excited to be at this little farm. I am still in awe, by my bride and groom, Beth & Hector who are beyond cool and by the amazing location they choose to shoot their engagement session at. Beth rides and has a horse at Shalimar Fields in Monroe, CT. The place is absolutely beautiful, and what made the place and pictures even more amazing is how you can clearly see how much they both love this place.

I shot like a maniac, as the place was any photographers dream, the time of day, the sunlight, the bright yet soft colors, the beautiful horses, it was all just so wonderful. And it all made me that much more excited to shoot Beth & Hector's wedding day later this year. They are too kind, and happily let my creative juices flow and followed every crazy request I had. Being that they are also both police officers, my mind went crazy with ideas, but I had them start out our session by sneaking in a small reference to not only what they both do for a living, but what brought them together as a couple. They met at work!

I ate it all up!! I'm a sucker for a cute love story, I love em! Cant wait for the wedding!

Madison Grace

Little Madison's birth was much anticipated, especially since I shot her parents wedding. With that being said, I've never been more excited to meet a baby, more so than my own nephews, as much as little Madison Grace. She is seriously the sweetest, calmest, cutest baby I've ever met. Her parents are ridiculously lucky, she is one happy little chica!

Maddie and I had an awesome time together, filled with laughs and conversation (did I not mention I was fluent in baby?), she goo-ed & gaa-ed at all my awful jokes, and smiled, winked and coo-ed for me as she knew I was eating it all up, and as you will see, so was the camera.

Madison has the most beautiful hand-knit blanket hanging over her crib, it was too incredible not to receive a picture of its own.

She also got a bit annoyed with the camera, but sneaky me, I kept shooting. Besides, even when she's cranky she still is sooo adorable! Honestly how cute is she, even with that angry lil face? LOVE...
