I’m obsessed with really good food, fun vacations, cool music, cheesy jokes and I really, really, really LOVE photography. I am a photographer that works out of both New York City and Connecticut and I love shooting couples, engagements, weddings, kids & families, and I am always down to travel anywhere!

Jenn + Matt | Married! Griffith Observatory
The utter amazingness of the session needs no words, these were beautiful and intimate portraits for a simple and small ceremony, shot at the AMAZING Griffith Observatory, that sits on top of all of Los Angeles, the pacific ocean, and the Hollywood sign. If you've never been I highly recommend it, I was speechless up there, what a beautiful view of the "City of Angles" and what a gorgeous couple.

Utter deliciousness in California
This may be terribly geeky, but I love to eat. I love to cook, I love to go out to dinner, I love trying new foods and I love foods that remind me of my family and my background...soul food, Chilean style. So obviously when I was out in Los Angeles, I went to hit up a little Chilean restaurant & bakery in Hollywood (Rincon Chileno), that I only recently had heard of. Everything about the place was simple and classic, there wasn't anything fancy, fusion, or modern about it and that's why I loved it so.
If I could of physically ordered and eaten everything on the menu I would have, but unfortunately my eyes are much bigger than my stomach. I can say though, that after eating a several course meal, we proceeded to the bakery next door and ordered some empanadas to take home as well as some pastries & freshly baked bread to eat for the ride home. Being that I am Chilean, and Chilean restaurants arent as abundant here in the states as other types of Spanish foods, it really is thrilling when I get to sit down at a restaurant and eat food that is just simple, home-cooked, heart swelling, family soul food.
Too bad I don't love the gym as much as I love to eat...

Angelle + John | Anniversary Shoot, Beverly Hills
I was in Los Angeles all last week, it was 95+ degrees and sunny all week long, now I'm back on the east coast and it's 40 degrees and snowing! Boo! Boo! Boooooo! What a welcome home, I miss the warm, sunny beach already and Ive only been back for 12 hours! At least I have pretty photos to look at to keep me happy.
I was so unbelievably lucky to meet some of the coolest, sweetest people in California, who also made for the most amazing photography. My couple, Angelle & John, were some of those people. They were so awesome, and so nice and I was so happy to get to meet them, share a cupcake and shoot their photos, as they were celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary. We met, wandered around Beverly Hills, I finally got to try a Sprinkles Cupcake (delish!!) and roamed Rodeo Drive as tourists looked on, confused, trying to figure out what "celebrities" they were (could you blame them, how gorgeous are they both?!?!?)
So for all you east coasters, enjoying your first snow of the season, enjoy some sunny California photos to warm you up today!

Emily + Steve | Engaged!
She's a sassy New York transplant, he's an Australian that was just in town for the weekend and the Spring Lounge in the East Village was where the stars aligned for these two to meet, fall in love and begin a romance that would eventually lead to marriage. Emily and Steve were hilarious, fun and so obviously in love that it just oozed through my photos. I love that they love to travel, that they love to have fun, and most of all that they love New York City, the city that brought them to each other.
