The awesomeness of other talented people

As I make my own little path through this giant field of photography, I sometimes revert back to those feelings in middle school of desperately wanting to belong, and fit in with the "cool kids". What is drastically different this time around though, is in an industry this huge, where there are so many amazing professionals I seriously look up to, I've been met with nothing but open arms (and yummy stiff drinks!) within this community. I have been so lucky to come across so many other fabulous photographers that have been so generous with their advice, suggestions and most importantly friendship. A HUGE thanks to the super cool, super talented Trent Bailey, for hanging with me and grabbing some of the shots of moi for my new website. Plus...besides talking shop, I always like getting in front of the camera as it always reminds me what my clients feel. It's not always easy being in front of a camera, but its ALWAYS easy to be silly and have fun in front of someone you trust completely with a camera because you know however big of a geek you may be they will make you look amazing in a photo. Thanks Trent!

4th of July and my new Niece!

My fourth this year was spent getting to know my new little niece. Only a few weeks old, my new little munchkin is the sweetest little girl I've ever met, I am soo looking forward to the many years of cute clothes she has to look forward to from her Auntie!

World Cup 2010 Part II

I grew up in a house where the only professional sports I knew about were running, skiing & soccer. Not my fault, those 3 particular sports were just my fathers thing and he wasn't (*isnt) much for anything else. So when the world cup rolls around, it's a pretty big deal in my family. With that being said I have quite a few teams I have to pledge my allegiance to this year, the US, Chile, Slovenia, Italy & Spain (I am a whole mess of nationalities!). And, obviously today I went out with all my US bells & whistles on. (tie or not, we did pretty damn good!)

Heidi + Ben | Married!

I 2nd shot for my girl Misty Enright again, and shot a giant "southern wedding" by way of Simsbury, Connecticut. Heidi & Ben, their friends and family all celebrated their B-I-G day at their town church and then P-A-R-T-I-E-D the night away at Hop Meadow Country Club.








Heidi wore the viel her mother wore on her wedding day, its been in their family for over 50 years, it was stunning.
